The Course in Healing: Introduction

What is healing? What is dis-ease? If you can accept the basic premise that healing requires a return to wholeness, a release of sickness and a state of higher awareness then you can also accept that all diseases can be healed in the same way.


There are many sicknesses, many symptoms and challenges, but all dis-ease is a state of separation. When we allow our thoughts, our bodies and our awareness to get out of the alignment with wellness, we cultivate dis-ease.


As you walk along with these lessons on reinstating your natural ability to heal, open your mind and heart to the possibility that healing is available every day, to every one. Miracles are available every day to every one. We can exist in alignment with this truth, or we can remain separate in a state of dis-ease.


The course is set up as weekly lessons, with daily insights and affirmations to enforce each lesson. However, time is an earthly construct. You may choose to go through the lessons at your own pace. There is no rule that requires one full year to be healed. If you choose to complete the course in less than one year, make sure you are completing the lessons in order and actually doing the work required. Just as you learn in a classroom with a lesson plan and assignments, the outcome of the course will be dependent upon the effort you put into it.


How do I know this? I walked down the path of sickness, believing in my diagnosis as the truth of my existence. I became more sick each day, living every day in pain and fearing about my future. After doing everything my doctors told me to do, short of allowing harmful, painkilling drugs to take over my life, I woke up one day with a new truth. I decided to heal myself. This is how I did it.
