All Healing is Energy Healing
If all thoughts are energy, then counseling involves healing the energy of your thoughts.
Counseling can take the form of traditional talk therapy, or a growing list of conscious and subconscious techniques. Hypnotherapy, art therapy, regression therapy are all used to bring awareness to subconscious wounds or destructive habits.
Healing your thoughts is just one step to healing emotions. Just as healing a chemical imbalance is not the only way to heal a chronic issue; talk therapy is not the only way to heal from past trauma.
Think of your past wounds as tangled energy within your body. Those tangles restrict the flow of energy, fluids, oxygen and nutrition. The process of untangling dis-ease may require more than one therapy to bring about wellness. Adjusting your thoughts, your chemical balance and your emotional health can open the door to healing even those illnesses previously thought to be incurable.
Affirmation: I open myself to all possibilities. Just as dis-ease has many causes, healing can come from many sources.
